JD Events is a family owned and run business which was created by Managing Director Jason Davis, Jason has over 25 years in the event and entertainment industries. After first starting Bathurst Sound and Lighting in 1990, Jason realised that there was a need for great quality hire equipement at afforadable prices in Bathurst, Orange and Lithgow and generally the whole of the Central West of NSW.
At the start of 2012 the company was re-branded to form JD events, in early 2017 JD events purchased Mac-Hire in Orange so he could give outer lining areas of Central Western NSW a chance to experience top quality event hire options.
JD Events was created to fill a need in Bathurst, Orange, Lithgow and the Central West of NSW for great quality equipment at affordable prices on event, wedding and party equipment. From event marquees and clear span structures, to wedding marquees and catering equipment and so much more.
JD Events carry a wide and varied showcase of items available for hire including many different styles and sizes of marquees, an extensive range of sound, lighting and AV options, tables and seating and catering needs from full kitchens to glassware and crockery.
The JD Events team come from a wide variety of work backgrounds, each team member brings with them the skills to help put together your perfect event, be it a business conference, a family celebration , public event or even a backyard barbie.
